ABOUT

Dr. Stephanie Bozak is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping others.  She works with a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, trauma, addiction, anger management, and a myriad of other topics.  Her clinical work has included a number of different settings including outpatient mental health care, schools, residential treatment centers, and inpatient psychiatric treatment facilities.  Throughout her career, Dr. Bozak has evaluated and treated individuals from diverse backgrounds and across the developmental spectrum.  She is client centered, strength based, and utilizes a relational approach to create a welcoming and safe space for her clients. 

In addition to her clinical work with individuals and families, Dr. Bozak has also been a clinical supervisor, trainer, and held numerous leadership positions in non-profit mental health agencies.  She has also been a consultant to schools, agencies, police departments, and other mental health professionals.  In the role of consultant, she has offered her clinical expertise and insight from program review to specific case consultation.  She also specializes in the assessment and coordination of therapeutic intervention for children and adolescents who have inappropriate sexual or fire setting behavior.  Dr. Bozak is a member of the Connecticut Association for the Treatment of Sex Offenders (CATSO), the Connecticut Psychological Association (CPA), and the American Psychological Association (APA).
